Summary: At 1150 hours on 10 September 1968 B Co 2nd Plt 1/35 reported incoming rounds. A confirmed report from Major Weedworth who was at the location (Kontum Air Strip and ASP) reported 7-8 122mm rockets and possibly 1 B-40 rocket hit a portion of the airstrip and ASP area. No significant damage was done. There were no reported friendly casualties reported. Artillery was called in on a suspected launching site from an azimuth taken by Major Weedworth and personnel at the ASP. No further action was reported.
